The energy vibrated by the growth in the garden is really high.

Why is that important I hear you say? It’s a known fact that variations in vibration changes the condition of bones muscles and tendons, to mention but a few.

But if you go out into the garden, any garden it doesn’t have to be your own , notice how you feel.

The flowers or vegetables or fruit take in the sun chlorophyll. When you eat that fruit or veg you take it in too. It’s the energy produced by the sun.

Equally the emissions from the flowers raise the vibration and when you breathe in the energy in the garden - in goes that beautiful energy into your lungs and circulated around your body.

Years ago it was good practice to put your baby in the high pram and wheel the pram into the garden for the baby to sleep or just sit and play in the fresh air and absorb the vibration from the growth in the garden.

My grandad, my Dad’s father was an amazing gardener. He grew everything you could think of in his little garden from a corporation housing estate. Vegetables fruit and flowers. No grass, that was a waste of soil! My Dad was a brilliant gardener too and had the same idea! There was no lawn in either front or back garden.

Each time we went out to the garden my grandad would tell us if there was new growth, the botanical name of the flower the plant family it came from and of course the name ‘as gaeilge’

The front garden in our family home had dahlias of every variety along with lilies and the back had every colour and variety of roses you could mention.

The fragrance was heavenly. One of my special places is our back garden. I just have to think of it and I’m transported right back there. If I smell a rose the same thing happens. It’s amazing what you remember when your limbic system is stimulated by a beautiful fragrance.

So if you don’t have a garden of your own you might try the Botanic gardens in Glasnevin.
